NFC Payment in Google Pay not working on Pixel devices [Fix]

  1. To begin with, head over to Settings > Apps > All Apps.
  2. Then select Google Pay from the list and go to Storage.

  5. Then sign in to Play Store and Play Services using your Google account.
  6. Now launch Google Pay and set it up. You would no longer face any issues now.

These were the steps to fix the issue of NFC payment not working in Google Pay on Pixel devices. if you are still getting bugged with this issue, then your last resort will be to unlock the bootloader, downgrade to the May security patch and then relock the bootloader. But doing so will require a factory reset and might nullify the device’s warranty as well.
