S22 Ultra Beta users cannot install stable One UI 6 OTA updates!

As soon as Samsung announced that the testing phase of the latest One UI 6 based on the fourteenth iteration of the OS had started, many tech enthusiasts straightaway jumped onto that bandwagon. And we can’t blame them either. After all, there’s always this sense of anticipation and eagerness to check out the latest and greatest that a new OS has to offer.

However, trying out these beta builds has its fair share of caveats, the most obvious among them is the presence of bugs. Users who have stepped into this domain already know of these issues beforehand, but they might have not assumed even in their slightest of dreams that they would end up getting bugged with a beta-related issue after the completion of the beta phase.

Numerous S22 Ultra users who had installed the One UI 6 beta updates are now no longer getting the stable OTA updates. Whenever they check for an update, they are instead greeted with the “Unable to update the software. Network or server error occured. Try later”.

As a result of which, users are left with no option but to either update their device via Samsung SmartSwitch or manually download firmware from a third-party website like samfw and then flash it via Odin. All in all, it indeed seems to be quite a hefty price to pay for getting a part of the beta testing community! With that said, we will be keeping a close watch on this story and will update this post as and when there is any further development regarding the same. Stay tuned!
