What is OnePlus EDL Flash Tool
The Flash Tool allows you to flash OFP firmware on Oppo, Realme, and OnePlus devices so that you can easily unbrick them. But as opposed to MSM Tool, it doesn’t come bundled with the OFP firmware, you will have to get hold of that separately [that isn’t an issue because we already have quite a few EDL firmware packages for OnePlus 10 Pro]. It would automatically identify the device connected to your PC in EDL mode from one of the COM ports.
You only need to upload the OFP firmware to it and it will subsequently flash that firmware. Moreover, the user who has leaked this tool has informed that “the tool does not need to authenticate with server to flash device in EDL mode”. How to Bypass OnePlus Flash Tool Login
- Download and install a Hex Editor on your PC. Then launch it.
- After that, download and extract the Flash Tool on your PC.
- Now go to the extracted folder and drag and drop the DownloadTool.exe file to the Hex Editor.
- Then press Ctrl+F, go to the Hex Values tab, type in the below value in “Search for” and hit OK

- The said value will now be highlighted.
- Replace it with the below value and hit Ctrl+S to save it.

- Now double click on the DownloadTool.exe file to launch the Flash Tool.
- Then type in any value under the Username, Password, and Verification field and click on Sign in.
- That’s it. You have now successfully logged in to the OnePlus EDL Flash Tool.
How to Flash OFP Firmware via OnePlus Flash Tool Login
- To begin with, bypass the login and launch the OnePlus EDL Flash Tool.
- Then grab the desired OFP firmware corresponding to your device.
- After that, download and install the Qualcomm HS-USB Drivers.
- Then boot your device to EDL Mode and connect it to the PC via USB cable.
- Now go to the Software Package tab from the left-hand side of the tool.
- Then click on the Import button and upload the OFP firmware file.
- After that, go to the Flash tab and the tool should now recognize the device.
- So hit Flash and wait for the process to complete. Once done, you will be notified of the same.
- Likewise, your device should automatically boot to the OS.

UPDATE
Earlier it was ascertained that the tool does not need to authenticate with the server to flash the device in EDL mode. However, upon flashing the OFP firmware via this tool and then looking at the log, we could confirm that is not the case. The tool does infact make an authorized connection with the Oppo Servers. So as of now, the only way out is to capture the network data traffic when the tool has established this connection and is flashing the firmware.
UPDATE 2: MSM Download Tool for OnePlus 11 is Finally hacked!
An XDA user seems to have finally found a vulnerability that will allow any user to log in and access the MSM Tool using any ID, without the need for authorized service center employees. However, it could take a few days to weeks before the MSM Download Tool for the OnePlus 11 is made available to the public, and the reason for the same makes complete sense.
