The culprit behind this issue is the conflict between the iCloud Private Relay and your VPN app. So to rectify this issue, you will have to take either of the two approaches- either disable iCloud Private Relay or uninstall the VPN app from your Mac. In this regard, disabling Private Relay might prove to be a challenging task as the System Settings menu is constantly crashing, so you will have to keep on trying until you reach that menu.

FIX 1: Disable iCloud Private Relay

  1. Launch System Settings and click on your name at the top left.

FIX 2: Uninstall VPN App
