Safari Bring All to Front/Arrange in Front not working/greyed out

The browser offering from the Cupertino giant, Safari is usually the to-choice for numerous users. Apart from being able to checkmark most of the prerequisites that one could have asked for, its deep integration into the Apple ecosystem also plays a major role in its rise to fame. Moreover, it beholds a slew of intriguing features as well, some of which are hidden deep inside the menu but really make the job easier when it comes to dealing with multiple browser windows.

What is Bring All to Front/Arrange in Front in Safari?

Two among them are the Bring All to Front and Arrange in Front functionalities. If we talk about the latter one, then it tends to arrange all the opened Safari windows to the center of the Desktop. On the other hand, the Bring All to Front feature brings all the opened Safari windows to the front and pushes the rest of the apps’ windows to the back. However, as of late, both these features are going through a rough patch.

Safari Bring All to Front not working

Numerous users have voiced their concern that both the Bring All to Front and Arrange in Front are not working or are greyed out in Safari. For the unaware, you could access the Bring All to Front option directly from the Safari Window menu whereas Arrange in Front appears or rather replaces Bring All to Front when you press and hold the Option key.

No acknowledgment or fix yet

With that said, the issue was first reported in the first week of December and nearly one month later, there’s no acknowledgment of this issue by the developers, let alone any ETA for the rollout of a fix. One major reason for the same could be due to the fact that both these features aren’t being used as extensively as the rest of the others, and hence only a handful of bug reports might have been filed till now.

Therefore, we would recommend you file a Safari bug report relating to this issue right away so that it gets addressed and hence rectified at the earliest. When either of these two things happens, we will update this post as well. So stay tuned!
