Pixel 8 Pro T-Mobile Network Drop: How to Fix

In this guide, we will show you a nifty workaround that should fix the network drop issues on the T-Mobile variant of Pixel 8 Pro. Recently there were a handful of complaints from the latest Pixel device owners that they are witnessing intermittent network drops on their devices. When that happens, an exclamation mark appears over the signal and they are unable to send and receive calls and messages or use data.

Also, take a backup of all the data, just to be on the safer side.   1. First off, download and extract Android SDK Platform Tools on your PC.
  2. Next up, root your device via Magisk.

  4. Now type in CMD in the platform-tools folder address bar and hit Enter.
  5. This will launch the Command Prompt. Now type in the below commands:
    adb shell
    su

  6. You’ll get a SuoerUser request on your device, tap on Grant. Now type in:

    ' > /dev/umts_router & cat /dev/umts_router

  8. Then disable Airplane Mode and wait for the data to be re-connected.
  9. Finally, restart your device and the underlying issue should be fixed.
