Fortunately, there does exist a nifty workaround that should help you rectify this bug. So without further ado, let’s check it out.

  1. First off, head over to Settings > Accessibility > Switch Access.
  2. If it’s not there on your device, then download it from here.

  3. Then enable Use Switch Access and tap Allow in the prompt.
  4. You’ll now get a few prompts, hit the cross at the top right.No Sound to OK Hey Google
  5. Now launch the Google App, tap on your profile, and select Settings.
  6. Then select Google Assistant > Accessibility and disable the following:
    Mic-open Notification and Mic-close notification.
  7. Wait for a few seconds and then re-enable them. Now restart your device.No Sound to OK Hey Google
