The latest OS released by the Cupertino giant has blessed device owners with tons of intriguing goodies. In this regard, some of the noteworthy ones include the likes of updates to Messages, Phone, FaceTime, Interactive widgets, Standby Mode, and Contact Posters. On the flip side though, a few issues have also managed to creep in, which isn’t usually expected in a stable release.
Live Location Sharing is not working in iOS 17
One among them is the fact that Live Location Sharing is currently not working on the latest iOS 17 build. There are a plethora of useful scenarios wherein this feature comes in handy, such as parents being able to keep a live track of their children’s current location. However, in the current state, the location isn’t updating and even manually tapping on the Refresh icon does no good.
Unfortunately, for many, their misery doesn’t end here. They have also voiced their concern that the new UI/UX of the map has completely ruined its interface. All in all, Apple seems to have messed up big time, at least when it comes to handling the Live Location Sharing feature in iOS 17. With that said, we will update this post as soon as there are any further development surrounding this issue. So stay tuned.
