Touchpad Gestures Missing in Windows 11: How to Fix

In this guide, we will show you the steps to fix the missing touchpad gestures issue (missing Synaptics SMBus Touchpad drivers) on your Windows 11 PC. The touchpad on the latest iteration of the OS is capable enough to perform quite a few nifty gesture tricks. These include the likes of double-tap for text selection, two fingers pinch in to zoom in and pinch out to zoom out, two-finger upward and downward page scrolls, three-finger gestures to open the Recents menu, and four-finger gestures to switch between multiple desktops.

Moreover, you could easily access, enable, disable or modify these gestures from the Settings > Bluetooth and Devices > Touchpad section. However, it seems to be easier said than done for many users. A slew of complaints are lined up wherein users are reporting that most of these gestures are absent from the Touchpad settings. At the very most, they could access just the Taps gesture. If you are also currently in the same boat, then this guide shall help you out. In this tutorial, we will show you the steps to fix the missing touchpad gestures on Windows 11. Follow along.
