FIX 1: Use Network Troubleshooter

  2. Then select System from the left menu bar and go to Troubleshoot.

FIX 3: Re-Enable Network Drivers

FIX 5: End Program that uses Port 1723

As already mentioned before, port 1723 should only be reserved for your VPN connection. So if any other program is using this port, you should end the process of that program right away. Here’s how:

  1. Launch CMD as an administrator from the Start Menu and execute the below command:
    netstat -aon

  2. Now refer to the process ID of the program, if any, that uses TCP port 1723.
  3. Then end the process of that program using the below command [replace ‘Number’ with the PID Number of that app. F stands for Force Close and is optional].
    taskkill /PID Number /F

FIX 6: Add Driver Privilege to Rasman Registry

  1. Open Registry Editor from the Start Menu and head over to the below location
    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\RasMan
