Well, you just need to take a screenshot of the boarding pass/event ticket that has a QR Code/Barcode in it. As soon as you do so, you’ll get the same screenshot menu but along with that, there will be an Add to Wallet option as well. Just tap on it and the card will be added to the wallet.

Supported Devices and OS

According to Google, the feature is available on Pixel 3 and newer devices. Moreover, Android 12 was the last OS that the device received. In a nutshell, Pixel 3+ Android 12 and its subsequent released OS are required for this trick to work.

Supported Cards

As of now, this feature only seems to work on event tickets and boarding passes. Surprisingly, these are the cards from which the “Add to Wallet” button has disappeared for many users!

Go to the Wallet app and tap on the “Add to Wallet” button. One of the options is a “Photo”, tap on it and it will then let you then add the screenshot/barcode.
