Google Wallet Quick Tile Unavailable/Greyed Out: How to Fix

In this guide, we will show you a nifty workaround to fix the Google Wallet Quick Tile “Unavailable”/greyed out issue. It has been a tough couple of months for the tech enthusiasts out there [and even more so for the developers]. As you might be aware, using banking and payment apps not only requires you to pass SafetyNet [which will anyway be depreciated in the near future] but also Play Integrity.

While it is fairly easy to do so, however, Google recently decided to make its presence felt in this domain and hence patched this tweak. But the developers once again managed to find a loophole and we are back to square one aka everything’s working well and good, at least for now. However, for one subset of users, things still don’t seem to be on the right track.

Japanese users who are using modules or tweaks to unlock Felica on non-Japanese Pixel devices so that they can use Felica cards have reported that the Google Wallet Quick Tile is showing as “Unavailable” and is greyed out. Moreover, these users have also enabled Osaifu Ketai and the Japanese Wallet UI using Jjyao’s module. If you are also facing this issue, then this guide will make you aware of a nifty workaround to rectify it. Follow along.

Fix Google Wallet Quick Tile “Unavailable”/Greyed Out

Google Wallet Quick Tile Unavailable Greyed Out

Uninstalling all Google accounts (main, alternate, Japanese alternate) and clearing data in Play Services, Play Protect, GPay, and even the Wallet wouldn’t do any good. The culprit behind this issue is the Osaifu Keitai, which you might have installed for using Suica. So just uninstall the Felica apps and it should rectify the underlying issue [this is because you can’t have both working at the same time].
