In this guide, we will show you the steps to install the Android 14 update onto your Pixel 7/Pro running the T-Mobile or Google Fi carriers. The fourteenth iteration of the OS has recently been rolled out and the eligible Pixel devices have already welcomed it abode. With this, they are now enjoying all the latest and greatest goodies that the OS has to offer. Unfortunately the same cannot be said for a subset of users, especially for the ones who are on the carrier-locked devices.

This is because numerous T-Mobile and Google Fi users having the Pixel 7/Pro are yet to get the Android 14 update as the rollout hasn’t even started by these carriers. One shouldn’t even be surprised at this point as T-Mobile has a long history of delayed updates and since Fi uses T-Mobile’s infrastructure, it tends to emulate the same behavior more often than not. With that said, there does exist a couple of methods using which you could still get this job done. Here’s how.

There exist two different methods of installing the latest update on the aforementioned carriers. The first one is extremely easy to carry out but has a slightly lower success rate in comparison with the second one, which might prove to be a tad bit complicated for some. With that said, we have listed both these methods below, you may try out the one that is in sync with your requirements.

METHOD 1: Via SIM Card Tweak

Your first course of action is to remove your SIM card from your device and insert a SIM of that carrier that has already received the update, such as Verizon. As soon as you insert the update, enable and disable Airplane mode to refresh the network, and then you should get the Android 14 OTA update shortly. Download and install right away and then restart your device. Once you are on the latest OS build, you may now safely remove the other SIM and insert your own.

METHOD 2: Via ADB Sideload

You could also manually sideload the update package onto your device via a couple of ADB Commands. While it might prove to be a tad bit technical, but our below-linked guide should help you get this job done with ease.
