There’s always a high level of excitement whenever an OEM releases a new product. And this anticipation level reaches new heights when the OEM in question is Nothing. Activate Nothing Phone 2 in India before importing/exporting it
Talking about the masses, the device is still limited to a few countries at launch [such as India, the US, and the UK]. Unfortunately, this then leaves out many potential buyers with just one viable approach when it comes to getting their hands on this device- importing it from a supported region or asking your friends/family living in one of those supported regions to export the device to your place.
However, before you carry out this importing/exporting process of Nothing Phone 2, make sure to activate it beforehand in a supported region like India. If you don’t do so, then you will not be able to activate your Nothing Phone 2 in an unsupported region, even if you have the SIM card of the supported region.
We have seen quite a few reports of the same such as a bunch of users who had imported a Nothing Phone 2 from India [supported country] over to UAE [unsupported country] and are now unable to activate their devices. So to avoid being a part of this fiasco, please activate your Nothing Phone 2 in India before importing/exporting it.
