Install Evolution X Android 14 ROM on Pixel 6A/6/6 Pro

In this guide, we will show you the steps to install the latest Evolution X ROM based on Android 14 on Pixel 6A/6/6 Pro. The sixth iteration of the devices was the first in the lineup to ditch the Qualcomm chipset and boast of its in-house tensor [although with a touch of Exynos]. As a result of which, there was always an element of doubt as to whether these devices would be able to reach the same peak that their predecessors managed to achieve.

Fast forward a couple of years, we could easily say that not only has it managed that performance, but in some domains, it has even bypassed them. Apart from the tons of mods and tweaks that it gets blessed with at regular intervals, it has a slew of nifty custom ROMs in its powerful arsenal. But this then leaves the tech enthusiast with a problem of plenty [not though we are complaining about!]. So which custom ROM should you choose as your daily driver?

Well, this is among the most difficult questions to answer because there is no perfect ROM in the modding community. With that said, Evolution X has managed to attain a level of trustworthiness among the users that not many in this domain could claim of! And the reason for the same is hardly a secret either. When you are getting a clean stock UI with tons of features, a fast snappy OS, and a performance-enhanced ROM, then why look any further? So on that note, let’s make you aware of the steps to install the latest Evolution X Android 14 ROM on Pixel 6A/6/6 Pro.

How to Install Evolution X ROM on Pixel 6A/6/6 Pro [Android 14]

Before starting, please take a complete device backup beforehand. Droidwin and its members wouldn’t be held responsible in case of a thermonuclear war, your alarm doesn’t wake you up, or if anything happens to your device and data by performing the below steps.

STEP 1: Install Android SDK

install adb platform tools windows

First and foremost, you will have to install the Android SDK Platform Tools on your PC. This is the official ADB and Fastboot binary provided by Google and is the only recommended one. So download it and then extract it to any convenient location on your PC. Doing so will give you the platform-tools folder, which will be used throughout this guide.

STEP 2: Enable USB Debugging and OEM Unlocking

Next up, you will also have to enable USB Debugging and OEM Unlocking on your device. The former will make your device recognizable by the PC in ADB mode. This will then allow you to boot your device to Fastboot Mode. On the other hand, OEM Unlocking is required to carry out the bootloader unlocking.
