How to Unlock Galaxy S24 Ultra via PIN without pressing Enter

In this guide, we will show you two different workarounds through which you can unlock your Galaxy S24 Ultra via PIN without pressing Enter. The newest addition to the Samsung family brings in a slew of noteworthy features, a power-packed specs sheet, an impressive camera, and a slew of nifty AI tweaks up its sleeves. Apart from that, there have been a few under-the-hood changes as well.

One such change, thanks to Android 14, is the fact that if you are using a four-digit PIN, then you’ll have to hit the Enter key after you have typed in the correct PIN. This is in stark contrast to earlier times when simply typing the correct PIN would unlock your device, without the need to press Enter. While this might not sound like much of an effort, but doing so countless times over the course of the day will call for unnecessary efforts. So what else could be done? Let’s find out!

There exist two different methods of getting the job done.- the official method and a workaround. Go through both of them and then try out the one that is in sync with your requirements.

METHOD 1: Use 6 Digit PIN

If you use the six-digit PIN instead of a four-digit, then you won’t have to hit the Enter key. So make a switch from the current four over to the six and the underlying problem stands corrected.

METHOD 2: Via 4/6 Digit Tweak

  1. Enter a 6-digit PIN under Set New PIN, where the first 4 digits are your actual PIN.
  2. Doing so will make the field appear with the checkmark for “Confirm without PIN”.
  3. Now remove the tick and set it again.
  4. Then delete the last two digits of the 6-digit PIN and press Next “very quickly” [see note].
  5. Finally, confirm the 4-digit PIN and your task stands complete!

NOTE: In case you aren’t able to carry out the fourth step fast enough, then increase the system animation speeds via the Developer Setting [some users had to set the Animations speed to 10x to make it perfect].

That’s it. These were the two methods to unlock your Galaxy S24 Ultra via PIN without pressing Enter. If you have any queries concerning the aforementioned steps, do let us know in the comments. We will get back to you with a solution at the earliest.

  • If you use the second method, will it hold even if you power the phone off and back on or will you have to repeat the process? Thanks!
