How to Remove Sign out from Lock Screen in Windows 11

  1. Launch all users, specific users or groups, or all users except administrators Local Group Policy Editor depending on your need.
  2. Then go to the following location from the left-hand side menu bar:
    User Configuration > Administrative Templates > System > Ctrl+Alt+Del Options
  3. Now open the Remove Logoff policy from the right-hand side.
  4. Finally, select Enabled and hit OK. That’s it. Sign out will be removed from the lock screen on your Windows 11 PC.
  5. To re-add it, just select Not Configured and hit OK,

  1. Right-click on an empty region on your desktop.
  2. Then select New > Text Document.
  3. Now copy-paste the below command in the file:
    Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00
    
    [HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Policies\Explorer]
    "NoLogoff"=dword:00000001
  4. Once done, hit Ctrl+S to save the file. Change the Save As to All Files.
  5. Then name the file df.reg and hit Enter to save it. Now launch the file.
  6. Click on Run/YES/OK to run the file and your task stands complete.
  7. To add this option back, simply change the content of the file to:
    Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00
    
    [HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Policies\Explorer]
    "NoLogoff"=-
