1. Bring up Finder and click on Go at the top menu bar.
2. Then select Go to Folder from the drop-down menu.
3. After that type in /Library/Preferences/SystemConfiguration and hit Enter.

Using Go to Folder Shortcut

1. Press the Command+Shift+G shortcut keys from your desktop.
2. Then type in /Library/Preferences/SystemConfiguration and hit Enter.
3. You will be taken to the System Configuration folder on your Mac.

Using Go Menu

1. Bring up Finder and click on Go at the top menu bar.
2. Then select Computer from the drop-down menu.
3. After that, open Macintosh HD from Finder.
4. Then go to Library > Preferences > System Configuration to access the said folder on your Mac.

Using Finder’s Favorite Menu

1. Bring up Finder, click on Go, and select Computer from the drop-down menu.
2. After that, open Macintosh HD from Finder.
3. Then click on Macintosh HD in the top menu bar so that its icon appears.
4. Now drag this icon to the Favorites section present on the left-hand side.
5. Now go to Library > Preferences and access the System Configuration folder on your Mac.

Using Desktop Shortcut

1. Bring up Finder and click on Finder at the top menu bar.
2. Then select Preferences from the drop-down menu.
3. Now under the General tab, checkmark Hard Disk.
4. You will now be able to access Macintosh HD right from your desktop.
5. From there, go to Library > Preferences and access the System Configuration folder on your Mac.

Using Terminal Window

1. To begin with, open Launchpad > Others > Terminal.
2. Now use the below command to access the SystemConfiguration folder

   cd /Library/Preferences/SystemConfiguration

3. Or if you want a GUI experience, then use the below command

   open /Library/Preferences/SystemConfiguration
