Hotspot not working on Pixel 7/Pro: How to Fix

In this guide, we will show you various methods to fix the issue of the Hotspot not working on Pixel 7/Pro. The seventh iteration of devices from the Silicon Valley giant had a much better start than its predecessor. The underlying second-generation Tensor chipset seems to have finally stuck the right chord, up to a large extent. However, even then, a few bugs have still managed to creep in.

One among them is the inability of the Hotspot to function along the expected lines on the Pixel 7 Pro. While the device gets listed under the WiFi section of another device, however, the latter is just not able to establish a successful connection with the Pixel. After a few unsuccessful attempts, the Pixel device is listed under the Saved section [instead of Connected], and this process goes on. If you are also getting bugged with this issue, then this guide shall help you out.

None of these things worked for me. I’m guessing it’s some sort of compatibility issue between my phone and my tablet (Lenovo Yoga Tab 3 Plus). Any help would be appreciated.

  • I have tried FIX 4. Then restart your device and the APN profile will be re-populated by the carrier.

After restarting my carrier APN has not repopulated and now I have no internet on my phone. Please help!
