The latest entry to the foldable domain is the offering from the Silicon Valley giant. And truth be told, it was one of the most anticipated ones to date. After all, when you are getting a clean stock OS with the fastest OS updates and an impressive camera, then there’s not much left to checkmark. However, there’s an important point worth keeping in mind- it’s the first generation and we all know how things usually chalk out for any new form factor.
As a result, a few issues were along the expected lines. Though we haven’t seen any major ones to date [mainly because it already had around 3-4 years of testing phase by comparing other foldable] but there is a new issue, and a rather concerning one brewing lately. A few users have voiced their concern that they are witnessing green screen on their Pixel Fold. So when exactly does this happen and how to rectify it? Let’s find out.

What’s the Pixel Fold Green Screen Issue?
Whenever a user tends to uninstall an app, then they witness a green screen at the top right for around half a second. It then suddenly disappears and doesn’t make a comeback on every app removal. It happens rarely and is currently only affecting those who are on the latest Android 14 Beta.
How to Fix Pixel Fold Green Screen
Initially, there were a few concerns that it might be due to hardware issues. Fortunately, that theory doesn’t stand true anymore as the issue is present on the latest beta software. Any software in the testing phase is known to carry a few bugs with itself, so there shouldn’t be an element of surprise in this. With that said, since the occurrence of this issue is quite rare, many users have simply neglected it for good because the stable update is just around the corner.
However, if you want to get it addressed right away, then your only course of action is to downgrade your device to the Android 13 OS. Do note that doing so will wipe off all the data from your device. So take a backup beforehand and then you may refer to our guide to get this job done: Downgrade Pixel from Android 14 to Android 13 [2 Methods] [Video].
