iOS 17 Lock Screen Weather Widget is buggy when it snows!

Well, it seems that the winter is finally here and with that, the White Walkers aka bugs are giving some tough times to the Cupertino giant. The Walls have long been breached and the one who “holds the door” is no longer capable of doing so. As a result, the issues are able to walk into the Apple ecosystem without having to face any challenging battles as such.

In the past, we have already discussed a plethora of issues that have rattled the iOS 17 and now, there has been an addition of another unwanted member to this ever-growing family of White Walkers. Numerous users have reported that the iOS 17 lock screen weather widget tends to show a random file icon every time it “snows”, and this bug could easily be “resurrected” whenever the said temperature arises [and no, Red Woman is not needed this time around!].

Though this issue isn’t as concerning as the ones that have made their presence felt in the older times, but still, it needs to be addressed at the earliest, or else, whatever remains of the seven kingdoms will be ruined. So let’s come together, join hands, and fight file a bug report with Apple so that it can get its act together on an immediate basis. Or else, the ending will be worse than the 7th and 8th seasons of GOT!

On a serious note though, as far as the official stance on this matter is concerned, the developers are yet to acknowledge this issue, let alone give out any ETA for the rollout of a fix. As and when any of these two things happen, we will update this guide accordingly. [Until then, long live the King, or rather the Queen!]
