It is recommended that you try out each of the below-mentioned workarounds and then see which one spells out success. So with that in mind, let’s get started.
Via the Crop Tweak
- First off, select the wallpaper of your choice.
- Then go to Crop > Resize > Wallpaper.
- Now adjust the photo accordingly and hit Done.
- Then select this photo and choose Use as Wallpaper > Add.
- The image will be added as a wallpaper bit without any blur!
From Settings Menu
- To begin with, head over to Settings > Wallpaper.
- Then tap the Wallpaper you use for your home screen
- Now turn off Blur from the bottom right corner of your screen.

UPDATE 1: Wallpaper Blur not working on iOS 17.1.1/17.1.2/17.2 Beta
The issue has once again come to light, albeit in a slightly different manner. This time around, numerous users on iOS 17.1.1 have voiced their concern that the Wallpaper Blur feature is not working when you have a different lock screen and home screen wallpaper.
The issue was first reported with iOS 17.1.1, then carried over to 17.1.2. and is even present in the 17.2 Beta build. As of now, the only way to rectify this bug is to have the same lock screen and home screen wallpaper. We will update this section as and when there’s any further development surrounding the same.
