Fix Pixel Device’s Touch and Hold Delay Too Sensitive Issue
- Head over to Settings > System > Tap on Build Number 7 times.
- Then go to System > Developer Options and enable USB Debugging.
- After that, connect your device to your PC via a USB cable.
- Then download and extract the Android SDK Platform Tools on your PC.
- Now head over to the platform-tools folder address bar, type in CMD, and hit Enter.
- This will open Command Prompt. Now just type in the below command in this CMD window and the issue stands rectified.
adb shell settings put secure long_press_timeout 401
- You might now get a USB Debugging shell prompt on your device, tap OK/Allow.
- Do note that the standard values are Short – 400, Medium – 1000, and Long – 1500. But we used a non-standard timeout [401] as it gave us the best result.
