In this guide, we will show you the steps to spoof your Android device to Pixel [or any other of your choice]. There could be quite a few reasons why you might want to carry out this task. For starters, there are a few apps that are restricted by the OEM to run only on their devices. Likewise, devices from Pixel behold a slew of intriguing goodies that are Pixel exclusives [a lot of nifty camera features fall in this category].

As far as my reasoning for the same is concerned, I have spoofed my OnePlus 7T to the Pixel 1 as that is the only Pixel that still offers free unlimited Google Photos storage in original quality. Well, this list could go and on, let’s keep that aside, and focus on the steps to spoof your Android device to Pixel, or any other device, for that matter.

First and foremost, your device needs to be rooted. If you haven’t done so, then please check out our guide on How to Root Android via Magisk Patched Boot. Once that is done,you may then start off with the below steps. Droidwin and its members wouldn’t be held responsible in case of a thermonuclear war, your alarm doesn’t wake you up, or if anything happens to your device and data by performing the below steps.

  1. Download Magisk Hide Props Config from GitHub/XDA and send it to your device.
  2. Then launch the Magisk app, tap on Install from Storage, and select the Magisk Hide Props Config module.Spoof your Android Device to Pixel
  3. It will now be flashed. Once done, hit Reboot. Once your device boots up, install the Termux app from Play Store.
  4. Now launch Termux and type in the below command [you will get a SuperUser request, tap Grant].
    su -c props
  5. It shall now launch the MagiskHide Props Config within the terminal itself. Type in 1 [Edit Device Fingerprint] and hit Enter.
  6. After that, type in f [Pick a certified fingerprint].Spoof Android Device to Pixel
  7. Now type in the number which corresponds to the device manufacturer that you want to spoof. For example, type in 7 for Pixel and hit Enter.
  8. After that, type in the number that corresponds to the exact device model to which you want to spoof your device. For example, type in 14 for Pixel.
  9. Then type in the desired option number corresponding to desired Android version. For example, type in 4 for Android 8.Spoof Android Device to Pixel
  10. Finally, type in Y to save the changes and again type Y to restart your device.
  11. Once your device boots up, delete the data of Google Play Service, Google Play Store, Google Service Framework, and Google Play Protect Service [if present]. Likewise, also delete the data for the app that you were trying to trick [such as Google Photos, for unlimited storage].Spoof your Android Device to Pixel
  12. Finally, restart your device once again. Once your device boots up, it should now be spoofed to the one that you had chosen.
