Downgrade OnePlus 11R: OxygenOS 14 to 13/Android 14 to 13

In this guide, we will show you the steps to downgrade your OnePlus 11R from OxygenOS 14 based on Android 14 to OxygenOS 13 based on Android 13. The latest entry to the OnePlus 11 series, its R variant, has just been blessed with the fourteenth iteration of the OS build. This translates to its ability to welcome abode tons of noteworthy features, including the likes of Aquamorphic Design 2.0, Trinity Engine, HyperRendering, HyperTouch, and HyperBoast, among others.

However, as has been the case with earlier OS upgrades, especially with regards to OnePlus [thanks Oppo!], the UI/UX of the OS might not be in sync with the user’s requirement. Along the same lines, a few third-party apps might not be compatible with the latest iteration of the OS/API level. The below process will wipe off all the data from your device, so please take a complete device backup beforehand.   1. Download the downgrade firmware from below and send it to your device.

  3. This will enable Developer Options. Now go back to Go back Settings -> About device.

  5. Then select the downgrade firmware and select Extract -> Upgrade.
  6. Now wait for the process to be completed. Once done, hit Restart.
  7. Your device will now boot to OxygenOS 13 based on Android 13.

Fix Local Install Missing on OnePlus 11R

If Local Install is missing from your OnePlus 11R, then here’s how you could rectify this issue:

  1. First off, turn off Wi-Fi and Mobile data.
  2. Then go to Settings -> Apps -> App Management.
  3. Then Click the top right button -> Show system.
  4. Now select Software Update > Storage usage -> Clear data.
  5. Keeping Wi-Fi and Mobile data turned off, retry the above downgrade process and check out the result.
