In this guide, we will show you the steps to use Google Pixel Watch LTE in an unsupported country. The Silicon Valley giant has stepped into the smartwatch domain and ah already managed to grab the attention of the masses. With the underlying Android-based OS skin, it brings in a slew of noteworthy goodies to your device, including the ability to sideload third-party apps via ADB Sideload.
However, at the time of writing, it is still not yet available in some countries. While you could still import it from a supported country but what about its LTE functionality or more important, the eSIM compatibility? Well, it wouldn’t work, at least on paper. But using a nifty workaround, you could easily use your Google Pixel Watch LTE in an unsupported country. And in this guide, we will show you how to do just that.
How to Use Google Pixel Watch LTE in an Unsupported Country
- To begin with, get hold of an eSIM from a supported carrier/country and then activate it,
- Then restart your device and verify that your device has a connection with the supported carrier.
- Now launch the Pixel Watch App on your device.
- Then go to the eSim/Carrier section and tap on Setting up the connection with the supported carrier.
- Now change to the phone settings, deactivated the temporary eSim, and activated your primary eSIM.
- Switch back to the Pixel Watch App and make sure that the request to scan a QR code is still active.
- Finally, scan the QR code you got for your smartwatch of the unsupported carrier.
