Surface Book 3 Launching Soon along side Surface Buds

Microsoft’s Surface lineup offers a range of laptops, tablets and notebooks. Last year in October Microsoft launched Surface Laptop 3 along with other Microsoft products. Microsoft also showed off Surface Duo. A smartphone having a dual display which acts in a way that it can replace the foldable display smartphones. Surface Book 2 was launched in November 2017 and ever since we have been waiting for Surface Book 3. Recently, according to leaks we have found that Surface Book 3 is launching soon and not only that we are expecting that Microsoft will be launching Surface Buds also. Surface Book 3 is launching with a bunch of features which should make you excited. Surface Book directly competes with high-end laptops like Apple’s Macbook Air, Dell XPS series and HP Elitebook.

The Surface Book 3 according to the leaks should be powered by Intel’s latest 10th Gen processors- the ice lake. While the higher variants of Surface book 3 should be powered with Comet Lake processors which is a desktop level processor. The size of the models could be 13.5 and 15 inches and powering the displays with Nvidia GPU. These notebooks are really high-end notebooks so the RAM expected is either 16 GB or 32 GB. The top-end variant could even go up to 64 GB. The major noticeable change besides the incremental upgrades of hardware is the addition of WIFI 6 modem in the new Surface Book 3 which can give speeds up to 2-3 GBPS. Addition of WIFI 6 AX201 modem certainly says that the Surface Book 3 is ready to compete with rivals in 2020.

Launch of Surface Book 3

The launch is expected at the end of Q2 of 2020. If we recall the surface book 2 was launched in November 2017. Microsoft is also launching Surface Buds which is a true wireless earphone. Addition of wireless earbuds to the surface lineup makes perfect sense to switch to the Surface ecosystem. The leaks also claim that surface buds will last up to 8 hours of playback and the charging case can last for up to 16 hours. The case will be charged over USB-C. There is no news about wireless charging of the cases and whether they will support fast wired charging.
