Profile Picture missing in App Store after iOS 17 update

Apple has recently rolled out the seventeenth iteration of the OS build and with that, there are a slew of interesting features to look forward to. Some of the noteworthy ones include updates to Messages, Phone, and FaceTime, Interactive widgets, no need to say Hey while invoking Siri, and Standby Mode, among others. However, there were a few issues that first crept in during the beta stage and have surprisingly made their way over to the beta build as well.

One among them is the fact that the profile pictures for many users are missing in the App Store right after they installed the latest iOS 17 update. While this in no way is a major bug that could hinder the daily usage of the Store or the device as a whole, but it is still quite astonishing to note that an issue has been left unaddressed for so long.

The only reason for the same could be due to the reason it has only affected a tiny minority of the user base, so the Cupertino giant might not even be aware of the same in the first place. Well, it’s all guesses at this point in time and it still remains to be seen when Apple does act on this bug. To speed up this rectification process, it is recommended that you file a bug report at the earliest.

As and when the tech giant acts in this matter, we will update this post accordingly. In the meantime, do let us know if you are impacted by this bug or not, and if yes, then whether it is leading to a significant loss of your valuable time or if it’s one of those minor issues that could silently go under the radar.
