In this guide, we will show you the steps to fix the IMS Status Unregistered/Not Registered issue on your Pixel device. Many users prefer to use Voice over LTE and/or WiFi as their preferred mode of communication. And the reason for the same is hardly a secret either. You can directly make and receive calls from the carrier’s data instead of having to purchase their separate calling plans, which in turn translates to saving a few additional bucks every month.
Likewise, if you are going to a place with a weak signal for your carrier but is equipped with WiFi, then you can easily place calls via the latter without having to worry about the carrier’s signal strength. So owing to all these benefits involved, there are no brownie points in guessing why users opt for these calling methods. However, in some instances, it might prove to be easier said than done.
Numerous users have voiced their concern that their Pixel device’s IMS Status is showing Unregistered/Not Registered. As a result of this, they are unable to use VoLTE and/or VoWiFi on their device. Even if they open the Info page from the dialer [*#*#4636#*#*] and go to Phone Information > IMS Service Status, the same status is visible there as well. If you are also getting bugged by this issue, then this guide will make you aware of a nifty method to resolve this problem. Follow along.
Fix Pixel IMS Status Unregistered/Not Registered
- To begin with, install and set up the Pixel IMS app on your device.
- Once done, head over to Settings > Network and Internet > SIMs.
- Next, go to APN > Add a New APN and then use the below details:
Name: IMS APN: IMS APN Type: IMS APN Protocol: IPv4/IP46 AP Roaming Protocol: IPv4/IP46
