OnePlus 10 Pro Stuck in Battery Saving Mode: How to Fix

In this guide, we will show you the steps to fix the issue of the OnePlus 10 Pro being stuck in the Battery Saving Mode. Recently I came across a rather intriguing bug where a user had enabled the battery saving when his battery was around 5%. However, he wasn’t able to charge his device, and hence it was turned off after a few minutes.

Once he booted up the device by charging it, the power-saving mode was still enabled. And this went on even after the device was fully charged. Unplugging and replugging the device from the charger or even restarting it did no good. And this is just the tip of the iceberg! One straightforward approach would have been to disable the battery saver from the quick settings toggle.

However, he wasn’t able to expand the quick setting further by swiping it from the right. Likewise, long pressing the Battery icon didn’t bought up the Battery Settings menu either. So what about doing so from the Settings menu? Well, there was no method whatsoever from wherein he could access the Settings menu and go to the Battery section.

The Settings app in the app drawer was not opening and even the settings icon present at the top right was not there! Likewise, there was no notification about the Battery aver in the notifications that he could sue to disable this functionality. All in all, there doesn’t seem to be any way out until we stumbled upon a nifty workaround that did manage to fix the issue of the OnePlus 10 Pro being stuck in the Battery Saving Mode. So without further ado, let’s check it out.

The workaround that managed to spell out success involves booting your device to Safe Mode and then disabling Battery Saver. However, while this may sound quite an easy task on paper, OnePlus has completely messed up the method through which you could boot this device to Safe Mode [you could no longer long tap on the Restart option to bring up this option]. Rather, you will now have to take the longer route to get this job done, as shown below:

  1. Power off your device. Then long press the power button to turn it back on. Wait till you see the OnePlus logo.
  2. Once it appears, press and hold the volume down button until your device reboots.
  3. Release the power button once your device reboots. Your device will now enter Safe Mode.
  4. Once you are in this mode, just disable Battery Saver via any of your preferred methods.
  5. Once done, restart your device. It will now boot to normal mode and the battery saver would be disabled.

That’s it. These were the steps to fix the issue of the OnePlus 10 Pro being stuck in the Battery Saving Mode. If you have any queries concerning the aforementioned steps, do let us know in the comments. We will get back to you with a solution at the earliest.

I found the solution for my problem my self. It was to delete all the shortcuts (I had 3 on my Safe mode home screen) After they where gone, a red text appeared saying “Exit super power savings mode”, I clicked on the text. After that the phone needed to be restarted and problem solved. No thanks to OnePluse support.

  • it turns out there is ‘exit’ icon/button at the upper-left corner of the screen on one plus 11, once tap it, it will show the option about disabling Super power saving mode at the bottom of the screen.

  • my one plus 11 phone just got this problem and that led me to your article when googled it online. Thank you for writing a full article about this exact problem. However, the solution did not work. Once in safe mode, I still don’t have access to system settings app in order to disable Super power saving mode.

  • Hi there, exactly the same screenshots except the safe mode reboot doesn’t change anything. I still have no access to settings (it shows the words Safe mode) so I know I’m in there.
    Any help appreciated?
