In this guide, we will show you a couple of nifty workarounds to fix the notification panel bug on your Galaxy S25 Ultra. According to the impacted users, when they perform a swipe down gesture from the top, the panel fails to appear 3 out of 5 times. At first, we thought it was an OS related issue, however, we weren’t able to emulate this issue on our other S25 Ultra.
But recently we got an exact same complaint from one of our readers. Upon getting in touch with that user, we found out the culprit and subsequently the fix as well. And in this guide, we will make you aware of the same. So without any further ado, let’s get started.

Fix Notification Panel Bug on Galaxy S25 Ultra
It is recommended that you try out each of the below-mentioned workarounds and then see which one spells out success. So with that in mind, let’s get started.
FIX 1: Remove Ad Guard Credentials
It even came as a surprise to us that the culprit behind this issue is AdGuard because it’s not one of those notification/LED tweaks apps. So, how could an ad blocker have an adverse impact on the notification panel? Well, it was due to its “The network may be monitored” message that was being displayed in that section.
So to rectify this issue, you just need to uninstall AdGuard, turn off VPN, and delete the certificates from Settings > Security and Privacy > More Security Settings > Clear Credentials. So, carry out this tweak and see if it works for you.
FIX 2: Separate Notifications & Quick Settings
If you are not using ADGuard but are still facing this issue, then you should switch to separate notifications and quick settings panels. This has also worked in numerous users’ favor, so it’s worth a try.
