In this guide, we will show you the steps to increase the FPS Rates on various games on your Android device. FPS or Frames Per Second does exactly what its name suggests. It determines the total number of frames your screen is displaying per second or your GPU is rendering each second.
As a result, more the FPS more will be the frames loaded per second and this would lead to a smoother and responsive gaming experience. And let’s be honest, who doesn’t want such an immersive gaming experience! However, it’s easier said than done. This is because games usually set a cap on the maximum number of frame rates that your device could display (for that game).
Generally, it is limited to 30FPS for many devices and only a few could take it to 60 FPS (we aren’t talking about refresh rate here!). However, thanks to the open-source nature of Android, there’s always a tweak to bypass these restrictions. And in this guide, we will make you aware of just that. So without further ado, let’s get on with the instructions to increase the FPS Rates on various games on your Android device.

There is just one major requirement that your device needs to checkmark- it should be rooted with Magisk. If that is not the case, and you prefer to root the device, then you may refer to the below guides.
Once that is done, let me explain what will be our further course of action. We would be flashing a Magisk Module that will spoof your device to Samsung Galaxy S10. It will do so by making changes to the build.prop file that is stored in the system partition.
Once that is done, you will now be able to enjoy all the games at 60FPS, as opposed to earlier 30 FPS. So keeping that in mind, let’s get started with the guide to increase FPS Rates on various Android games.
Instruction Steps
- To begin with, download the BDM Global Unlock Ultra 60FPS Magisk Module onto your device.
- Now launch the Magisk Manager app and tap on the Modules icon situated at the bottom right
- After this, tap on Install from storage, navigate to the downloaded module and select it.
- Magisk will now start flashing this file. Once done, tap on the Reboot button situated at the bottom right.
- Once your device restarts, the changes would have been taken place.
As far as testing goes, I was able to bypass the 30FPS limit on Black Desert Mobile and get up to 60 FPS. And yes, the change in overall gameplay experience was definitely there to see. However, if at any point in time you wish to revert to original settings, then just remove this module from the Magisk App. So on that note, we conclude the guide to increase FPS Rates on various Android games. Do let us know if it worked out for you or not, and on which game you tried.
