How to Reset/Restart iCloud Drive Sync

You could carry out this task either via Activity Monitor or using Terminal. We have listed both these methods below, you may refer to the one that is in sync with your requirement.

Via Activity Monitor

  1. Open Launchpad > go to Others > open Activity Monitor.

Via Terminal

  1. Open Launchpad > go to Others > open Terminal.

Restart Mac

  1. Click on the Apple icon at the top left and select Restart.

Re-Sign into Apple Account

  1. Open System Settings and select your username from the top.
  2. Then click on the Sign-out button present at the bottom left.
