How to Install ColorOS 15 on OnePlus Pad 2 [Get 32 Bit Support]

In this guide, we will show you the steps to install the ColorOS 15 on your OnePlus Pad 2. The OEM ships in two different OS skins, ColorOS in China and Oxygen in Global. It is no hidden secret that many users are inclined towards the latter as it offers a much cleaner stock usage experience [and less bloatware as well] when compared with its counterpart. With that said, ColorOS has one big advantage in its arsenal- the ability to run 32-bit apps!

This has been made possible thanks to ColorOS’s Tango emulation engine which allows you to seamlessly run the older architecture apps. Apart from that, you’ll also be able to welcome abode the likes of Breeno, OPPO Video, OPPO Music, OPPO App Market. The best part? We will be installing it as a Dual Boot, meaning you can easily switch between ColorOS and OxygenOS with just a single tap.

Moreover, both these OS will have their own data partition. So, the files that are there on one OS will not be accessible on the other one and vice versa, thereby giving you a privacy-enriched usage experience. So without any further ado, let’s make you aware of the steps to install ColorOS on your OnePlus Pad 2.

The below process will wipe off all the data from your device, so make sure to take a complete device backup beforehand. Droidwin and its members wouldn’t be held responsible in case of a thermonuclear war, your alarm doesn’t wake you up, or if anything happens to your device and data by performing the below steps.

Moreover, the developer of this GSI [XDA Senior Member ThatStella7922] has said the following things:

– I have tested exclusively on the OnePlus Pad 2 OPD2403, no other device is tested! Other devices may have unexpected or undefined behavior
– This GSI has been tested by being installed as a Dynamic System. Other installation methods are untested
– This GSI has been tested exclusively with OxygenOS OPD2403 15.0.0.601(EX01) as the main system. When running this GSI, please match this software version!
– Unlocked bootloader required. Theoretically it can boot with locked bootloader since I did not modify any images, but I tested with unlocked bootloader and you should too!
– Please assign at least 10GB of userdata space for the Dynamic System. The default of 2GB in DSI Sideloader is not enough, and it’ll make ColorOS crash and reboot

Adding my two cents to it, regarding the third point, it is possible to install this GSI on any other version of OxygenOS, though it should be Android 15 based only. And we talk about the fourth point, please do not unlock the bootloader while you are using this GSI as it might lead to a bricked device. So if that’s all well and good, then download the GSI ROM from here and then refer to our below guide to install the ROM right away:

That’s it. These were the steps to install ColorOS on OnePlus Pad 2 and enjoy 32-bit app support in the process. If you have any queries concerning the aforementioned steps, do let us know in the comments. We will get back to you with a solution as soon as possible.
