How to Install Android 16/OxygenOS 16 on OnePlus 13

In this guide, we will show you the steps to install the latest OxygenOS 16 based on Android 16 build onto your OnePlus 13. The OEM has really picked up the pace when it comes to releasing software upgrades. In fact, its flagship is the first non-Pixel device to get blessed with the sixteenth iteration of the OS, far ahead of the likes of Samsung, which is still stuck with its stable One UI 7 [Android 15] fiasco.

Anyway, coming back to OnePlus, the OEM has directly released the Beta 2 build as the first update [aka there’s no Beta 1 to fall back to]. Moreover, as opposed to Pixel, which follows the [correct] rollout cycle as Developer Preview < Beta < Stable, OnePlus has slightly deviated from this schedule, which might leave many users scratching their heads.

Even though it has released a Beta update, it is still a Developer Preview build, hence there will be quite a few bugs and issues than what you usually come across in the actual Beta build. One reason for the same could be the fact that OnePlus first performs a closed test among the chosen few users by providing them with a Closed Beta Testing, after which it carries out the Open Beta Test.

As of now, we are in this OBT phase, which still seems to be plagued with quite a few issues. So let’s first make you aware of all the bugs present in this bug, after which we will list out the installation steps. Follow along.
