In this guide, we will show you the steps to flash the Kernel with KernelSU integrated into your Galaxy S24 Ultra device. Magisk has for long been the go-to choice for the tech enthusiast when it comes to gaining administrative privileges. You just need to patch the boot/init_boot.img/AP file and then flash it via Fastboot or the Odin Tool to obtain the root.
However, due to the recent Play Integrity fiasco wherein many banking and payment apps are able to identify the app in spite of spoofing the fingerprint or using the Magisk Hide feature, users have started looking out for its alternatives. In this regard, two of the most noteworthy names include KernelSU and APatch. For the unaware, KernelSU beholds a Generic Kernel Image, it works in kernel mode and grants root permission to applications directly in the kernel space.
And in its current state, it is quickly becoming the top priority for most of the users out there, in terms of the best rooting solutions. However, it goes without saying that this method does have its fair share of complexities as well, with terminologies like Generic Kernel Image [GKI], Loadable Kernel Module [LKM], and the Kernel Module Interface [KMI] proving to be a tough nut to crack.
Moreover, when it comes to Samsung devices, especially its latest flagships, then the official kernel cannot work with LKM due to the KNOX security implementation. Moreover, the GKI kernel provided by KernelSU has issues with regard to Thermal Controlling, and in some cases, it might even lead to a bootloop device.
However, a developer has finally managed to address all these concerns and has rolled out a Kernel with KernelSU integrated for the Galaxy S24 Ultra devices. So without further ado, let’s make you aware of the steps to install it onto your device.
