FIX 1: Switch Slots
In some instances, the current active slot might be corrupted. Fortunately, you just need to make a switch to the inactive slot that would still be having the OS. So refer to the below steps to carry out this tweak and check out the result:
- First off, force reboot your device to the Fastboot Mode.
- Usually, this can be done by long pressing the Power and Volume Down keys.
- Now type the below command to switch to the other slot:
fastboot set_active other
- Then type the below command to reboot to the OS and check out the results:

NOTE: If you have faced this issue after flashing a custom ROM, then you’ll currently be in a custom recovery like TWRP or OrangeFox. In such cases, you can directly switch slots from the Reboot screen itself, no need to boot to Fastboot and use the above command.
