How to Fix Calling Issues in GSI ROM

In this guide, we will show you the steps to fix the calling issue in GSI ROM. Not every smartphone is created equal. While the likes of Poco, OnePlus, and Nothing get blessed with tons of custom ROMs, their counterparts Realme, Oppo, and Vivo are the ones who are always left behind.

Whether it’s due to complications involved in the development process [with the MediaTek chipset playing a major role in the same], the lack of popularity of those devices, or just the disinterest of the developers, these device owners are usually left confined within the walled gardens.

However, thanks to the Generic System Images, they now have the option to jump over to the other side of the fence and get a taste of all the new goodies that their counterparts have been enjoying for ages. The former is especially built for your device whereas the latter is a generic image- which isn’t aimed at any particular phone but is built for all the Project Treble devices [any device that came with Android 8+ out of the box].

Due to this non-exclusivity, you are bound to face some issues during the usual course of usage of these ROMs. Fortunately, though, most of these issues can easily be addressed, and the inability to make and receive calls falls in this bracket. So without any further ado, let’s make you aware of the steps to rectify this issue once and for all.
