How to Enable Soundboard in Discord
Do keep in mind that Soundboard is an experimental feature that is only available on Discord’s desktop version and has only been rolled out to a limited number of communities. So if you have been blessed with this functionality, then here’s how to enable it:
- Head over to the server of your choice and join the desired voice channel.
- You should now see a Soundboard music icon on the bottom left, click on it.
- To upload a new sound, click on the Add Sound button in the Soundboard panel.
- To edit or remove songs from Soundboard, head over to Server Settings > Soundboard.
- Likewise, hit the X button next to the desired sound to remove it from Soundboard.
- To prevent users from uploading custom sounds, head over to Server Settings > Roles.
- Then go to the Permissions section and disable the toggle next to Manage Expressions.
