It is recommended that you try out each of the below-mentioned workarounds and then see which one spells out success for you. So with that in mind, let’s get started.

FIX 1: Downgrade Google Apps

Your first course of action should be to downgrade the affected Google apps to their earlier version. While no doubt this requires a tad additional effort, but it did spell out success for many users. So let’s give it a try using the below-given steps and then check out the results.

Head over to Settings > Apps > See All Apps and select Google App from the list
Then scroll to the end and tap on App Details. You will be taken to the Play Store.
Tap on the overflow icon situated at the top right and uncheck Enable Auto-update.
Now go back to the Google App page and tap on the overflow icon situated at the top right.
Then select Uninstall Updates > OK in the confirmation dialog box. That’s it.

FIX 2: Delete Google Apps Data

You could also face this issue if the app’s data gets corrupted. Therefore, you should consider deleting the data and let the app repopulate a fresh instance of the same from scratch. Here’s how it could be done:

Head over to Settings > Apps and select the desired Google app from the list.
Then go to Storage and tap on Clear Data > OK in the confirmation prompt.

FIX 3: Reset APN

The underlying issue could also arise if the Access Point Name data gets corrupted. Therefore, you should delete the current APN profile and let the carrier set up a new one. Here’s how it could be done:

To begin with, head over to Settings > Network and Internet > SIMs.
Then select your SIM from the list and go to Access Point Names.
Now select your current APN, tap on the overflow icon situated at the top right, and select Delete APN.
Then restart your device and the APN profile will be re-populated by the carrier. This should rectify the issue.
