In this guide, we will show you the steps to flash the Samsung stock firmware without using a PC with the help of the Eros Flasher Tool. The South Korean conglomerate always seems to take a different route in custom development. Right from the highly technical stuff like flashing in Download Mode instead of Fastboot, patching and flashing AP instead of boot/init_boot for the root to even downloading firmware [via SamFW/Frija], it has carved out a completely different path for itself.
Likewise, even when it comes to flashing firmware, the OEM once took a page out of a completely different book. Instead of going for the usual Fastboot route, you’ll have to extract the firmware and flash the resultant AP, BL, CP, CSC, and Home_CSC to their respective slots using a third-party tool like Odin. But what if we told you that you could skip all this fiasco and get the job done directly on your phone? Yes, that is indeed a possibility and in this guide, we will show you how this could be done. Follow along.
Flash Samsung Stock Firmware without PC via Eros Flasher

Before starting, please back up all the data on your device. Droidwin and its members wouldn’t be held responsible in case of a thermonuclear war, your alarm doesn’t wake you up, or if anything happens to your device and data by performing the below steps.
- First off, you’ll have to unlock the bootloader on your device. So either refer to our detailed guide or check the shorter instructions given below.
- Start by booting your device to Download Mode. Since you cannot use the PC, you’ll either have to use the hardware key combinations or a third-party app like Bugjaeger to get this job done.
- Once your device is booted to Download Mode, press and hold the Volume Up key for a few seconds.
- This will take you to the Device unlock mode (make sure you have taken a backup).
- You will now get a confirmation message, use the Volume Up button to reply to the affirmation.
- The process will now begin and should be completed within a few seconds.
- Your device should then automatically boot up with an unlocked bootloader.
- Now turn on the WiFi and go to Settings > Tap on Build Number 7 times.
- Then go to Settings > Developer Options and make sure the OEM Unlock toggle is present there and greyed out.
- If that’s not the case, then close Developer Options, re-open it after a while, and then make sure it’s greyed out.
- Now that the bootloader is unlocked, download and extract the stock firmware on your phone.
This will give you the following files: AP, BL, CP, CSC, and Home_CSC.
- Now download and install Eros Samsung Flasher from GitHub on your secondary device.
- Then launch it and load the AP, BL, CP, and CSC/Home_CSC files.
Use CSC if you want to reset the device, otherwise, use the Home_CSC. If you want to root, then use the patched AP instead of the normal one.
- Now boot your Samsung device to Download Mode and connect it to the secondary device via OTG.
- Once your device is in the Download Mode, you’ll get a prompt in the Eros app, hit OK.
- Finally, hit Start and the flashing will start. Once done, your device will automatically boot to the OS.
That’s it. These were the steps to flash the stock firmware on your Samsung device without using a PC with the help of Eros Flasher. If you have any queries concerning the aforementioned steps, do let us know in the comments. We will get back to you with a solution as soon as possible.
