FIX 1: Enable Guardian

  1. To begin with, launch the Oculus app on your device.
  2. Then go to Settings and select your connected Quest from the list.

  4. Finally, enable the toggle next to Guardian. That’s it.
  5. This should fix the black screen issue in Oculus Quest 2.

FIX 2: Reset Oculus Quest 2

  1. Launch the Oculus app and select Devices from the bottom menu.

  3. Then go to Advanced Settings and select Factory Reset.
  4. Finally, select Reset. That’s it. This should rectify the issue.

As far as the official stance on this matter is concerned, the developers are aware of this issue, but they haven’t given out any ETA for the rollout of a fix.
