The next day (May 24), they recommended a workaround (the same that we have mentioned above):
We’re working on a fix but in the meantime, long press on a photo in your gallery to upload multiple images.
Well, some users have also suggested that clearing the app’s data and cache worked out for them. On the other hand, some were able to achieve success by disabling the Data Saver on their device. Well, since it is a software side issue, it’s surprising to see how these workarounds were able to fix this issue. But hey, no complaints as long as it is working!
