Many users were able to change the reticle after going to the loadout (Blueprint) menu in the Warzone section and then accessing the desired Modern Warfare loadout from there.
Some users have also suggested creating a custom loadout (Blueprint) with the desired reticle in the Warzone section and then equipping it in the Modern Warfare multiplayer section. In this regard, here’s what one user has advised:
Go to warzone… go to weapon gunsmith… chose your optic… hit right bumper… choose reticle… when ready go back to gunsmith where you put your silencer and stock and stuff… use the left trigger update or create new modification… once saved go back to multiplayer and chose the gun u modified…

The game has been blessed with a new update that brings in a plethora of bugs fixes. Unfortunately, there’s no mention (let alone any fix) of the reticle bug as of yet. So the wait only gets longer.
