The below instructions are listed under separate sections for ease of understanding. Make sure to follow in the exact same sequence as mentioned. STEP 1: Install Android SDK
First and foremost, you will have to install the Android SDK Platform Tools on your PC. This is the official ADB and Fastboot binary provided by Google and is the only recommended one. So download it and then extract it to any convenient location on your PC. Doing so will give you the platform-tools folder, which will be used throughout this guide.
STEP 2: Download OTA Firmware
Next up, download the OTA Images for your Pixel device from the official Google Firmware Page. It is recommended to download the latest OTA file, which you could verify by looking at the date present in the version number).
Once you have downloaded the firmware ZIP file, transfer it to the platform-tools folder on your PC. It is also recommended that you rename the file to update, so that the complete name becomes update.zip (it will now be much easier to type this name in CMD). STEP 3: Boot to Recovery Mode

- Then head over to the platform-tools folder, type in CMD in the address bar, and hit Enter. This will launch the Command Prompt.

fastboot flash vbmeta --disable-verity --disable-verification vbmeta.img

- Once that is done, flash the stock firmware via the below command (replace ROM with the name of the stock firmware):
fastboot update ROM.zip
