For that, you will have to delete the two configuration files stored in the Documents folder on your PC. Here’s how:

  1. To begin with, launch the File Explorer on your PC via the Windows+E shortcut keys.
  2. Then head over to the below location (you may also copy-paste this location in the address bar):
    C:\Users\Documents\Battlefield2042OpenBeta
  3. Now delete the two files named along the lines of Prof and ProfSave.
  4. Finally, connect your controller and launch the game. The controller will now be reset and the issue stands rectified.
