In this guide, we will show you the steps to enable Magazine Lock screen wallpaper on any Xiaomi device. The Chinese OEM recently surprised everyone by ditching its in-house MIUI in favor of the new and revamped HyperOS. As far as the changes are concerned, there are a few noticeable ones, including a few UI/UX tweaks, but not as drastic as one would have expected.
With that said, it has still managed to retain one of its core USPs that’s with this OEM since its inception- a plethora of customizations that it beholds. Xiaomi devices have always been known to have a truckload of tweaks under their arsenal and have often been criticized as being one of the most bloated OS skins.
But even then, there are a few features that have been loved and adored by many, one among which is its aesthetically pleasing collection of lock screen wallpapers. And with the advent of HyperOS, they have welcomed a new addition: the Magazine collection. This section comprises wallpapers that have an iOS-like Depth Effect and give you a unique intriguing experience whenever you unlock your device.
However, for some reason, this set of wallpapers will only be present on mid to high-end Xiaomi and Poco devices, it has not been added to the low-end devices, thereby leaving users out there in the lurch with a disappointing experience. But fret not. There does exist a nifty workaround using which you can easily enable the Magazine Lock screen wallpaper on any Xiaomi device. So without further ado, let’s check out how this could be achieved.
